Look on the bright side
As much as I despise working during the holidays (but hey, that's what happens when you burn up all your vacation during the first half of the year) there is a bright spot. A bit of a silver lining to the cloud. A normal 1 hour trip in to the office only took about 35 minutes this morning! I felt like I was on the track at Talladega, with the exception that I was able to do more than simply turn left.
