The appropriate way to utilize the upcoming Government Rebate
As you may have heard, the Bush Administration said each and every one of us would now get a nice rebate.

If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China .

If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs.

If we purchase a computer it will all go to India.

If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.

If we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan.

If we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy.

We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep that money here at home is to buy prostitutes and beer, since those are the only businesses still in the US.

Finally, an economic plan I can really support!

Comments:
I realize that you were being kinda funny. But maybe not.

The dudes in Mexico trying to grow fruit and the fella in India trying to solve software problems are just trying to make a buck like you and me.

There's a real shortage of talent and fossil fuel in the US. All of it stemming from govt policies.

If you want to blame anyone for monies flowing outbound, blame American company CEOs and their board of directors. It's a competitive world and it's increasingly connected.

First, I'd like to say that I thought I was being more than "kinda funny".

Second, how dare you question the manner in which I bring humor into your life?

Third, I totally agree with you regarding the shortage of talent and fossil fuel in the US and would challenge anyone to find a solution to that problem.

Fourth, I already blame the CEOs of big business and our government for most of the problems and issues we face today.

and

Fifthly, whatchu got against hookers and beer?!?

I have no problem with capitalism.
