Gangland Heard on the radio this morning that Clayton county currently has 40 active gangs. Being a former resident of Clayton county, this comes as a bit of a shock. I mean, I was aware of the occasional unsavory character wandering around, but you're going to find that anywhere. To have confirmed that there are 40 separate and autonomous organized gangs running the streets, committing acts of vandalism, violence, and larceny is very disconcerting. Even worse is the fact that even though I no longer reside in the county in question, I didn't move that far away. In fact, we only moved one county over. We still border Clayton county. How long before any of this gang activity spills over into Henry county? Hopefully, not before I've already cleared out of this area.  ¶ 6:03 AM
